What booking will involve

Nothing surprising, but worth knowing in advance so there are no unpleasant discoveries at checkout.

  • Pick a time and pay up front. Scans are prepaid. At this price point a no-show is the entire margin on the appointment, so we would rather be straightforward about it than pad the price for everyone.
  • A short health screening questionnaire. About a minute. It covers pregnancy, recent contrast studies, and implants — the things that determine whether a scan is appropriate for you today. It is required before you can complete a booking, not a form we hand you on a clipboard when you arrive.
  • A consent form to sign. Electronically, at booking. You get a copy.
  • A confirmation email with full preparation instructions and directions.

What it will cost

Our grand-opening price for a DEXA scan will be $50. That is the exact price you pay — not a "from" figure that changes at checkout, and not a price that depends on signing up for anything.

Before that, we're running a preview period: a smaller group of early guests, while we get the booking flow, the scheduling and the report turnaround right. Those guests pay $20 for their first DEXA scan.

It is a straight trade. You get the scan at well under half price and you put up with a studio still finding its feet; we get real people through the room and honest feedback about what is awkward. Join the list below and it is yours.

VO₂ max and RMR pricing will be published here before booking opens. The preview rate covers the DEXA scan only — those two tests take substantially longer and cost meaningfully more to run.

Cancellations

There will be a stated cancellation window and a no-show policy, both published on our cancellation page before we take a single booking. You will see them before you pay, not after.
